Due to the short trial production cycle, in order to seize time and speed up progress, the project team synchronously initiated supplier development from the drawing design stage, actively coordinated with the factory to concentrate resources and arrange production, ensuring that externally purchased and self-made parts are organized in place before the Spring Festival holiday.
The trial production of new products involves new technologies and processes. Product design and trial production personnel overcome difficulties, organize multiple rounds of manufacturing feasibility studies, and ensure the smooth production of parts. Especially for specialized components for outsourced welding, there are many problems with the first processing, and at the same time, rainy and snowy weather affects logistics transportation. The project team provided specialized wooden box packaging for parts production, followed up with debugging and verification at the welding site, actively organized problem reviews, and worked overtime overnight to produce, inspect, and deliver, ensuring the first batch of bridge installations.
During the trial production period of the sample bridge, which coincided with the Spring Festival, members of the project team arrived in Xiangyang from another city by chance. On February 15th, early in the morning of the first day of the first lunar month, trial engineer Chen Gang began to inventory and verify materials, and inspect equipment and fixtures. Test engineer Yu Ronglu took the initiative to take on the calibration work of the motor for the project. From the 6th to the 10th day of the first lunar month, he completed the production of the motor communication harness and motor calibration, ensuring the smooth progress of subsequent bridge assembly tests. Due to the first trial installation, unexpected difficulties were inevitably encountered. The trial production personnel patiently analyzed, verified the inspection records, checked the assembly relationship, and worked together to solve the problems, ensuring that the first round of sample bridge assembly was completed on February 21st.
